Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival Night Two Recap
(fcc) Night 2 of Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival 2026 brought another electric evening to Austin's Moody Center on Sunday with an incredible lineup of guitarists taking the stage for a night filled with standout performances, unexpected collaborations and celebrated songs.
The evening continued the weekend's showcase of talent across genres, with memorable performances from Eric Clapton, Sonny Landreth, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Tommy Emmanuel, CGP, Julian Lage, Del McCoury Band, Sierra Hull, Jerry Douglas, Taj Mahal, Keb' Mo', Robert Randolph, Eric Gales, Jimmie Vaughan, Marcus King, Joe Bonamassa, Doyle Bramhall II, Charlie Sexton, Elle Bramhall, Susannah Melvoin, Trey Anastasio, John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr., Alam Khan, and John McLaughlin.
Highlights from Night 2 included: Del McCoury Band performed alongside Sierra Hull and Jerry Douglas. Marcus King brought out a number of special guests throughout his set, including Sierra Hull and Joe Bonamassa. Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks also joined him for a performance of "Had to Cry Today," while his father Marvin King joined Marcus on guitar for "Blue Ridge Mountain Moon."
Trey Anastasio and John Mayer performed alongside one another, delivering incredible guitar solos that earned a standing ovation from the packed arena.
Eric Clapton delivered the headline set of the evening, performing tracks including "Cocaine," "Tears in Heaven," the acoustic version of "Layla" and more, while bringing out guests John McLaughlin and Kurt Rosenwinkel before welcoming most of the day's lineup back to the stage for an epic finale.
The two-night celebration brought together an extraordinary group of musicians and guitarists from across genres, marking the seventh Crossroads Guitar Festival and commemorating the 28th anniversary of the 1998 founding of the Crossroads Centre Antigua.
