The Moody Blues' John Lodge Tribute Shows Extended
(Glass Onyon) Following an incredible outpouring of love and support for the initial John Lodge Celebration shows in July 2026 - described by audiences as "emotional and unforgettable" - six additional winter tour dates have been officially announced.
The highly anticipated extension will kick off at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, MD, on November 29, 2026, and culminate at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, MI, on December 6, 2026.
The premiere July performances in Clearwater, Florida, and Esher, UK, captured a rare magic. By seamlessly weaving archival vocals and visual footage of John directly into the live set, it was as if John were performing in perfect harmony with his band. Earning both rave critical reviews and ecstatic fan acclaim for the amazing performances, this breathtaking technical feat created an incredibly powerful, spiritual atmosphere where audiences felt as though John were right there in the room with them.
John always said that he hoped people would leave his shows with joy in their hearts, and this is exactly how these shows left audiences - earning repeated standing ovations.
