Treaty Oak Revival And Ausin Meade Deliver Their 'Meade-E-Oak'r Mixtape'
(2b) Treaty Oak Revival and fellow Texan songwriter and musician Austin Meade join forces to share their new project, Meade-E-Oak'r Mixtape, out now via TOR Records.
Additionally, they've shared an official music video for the previously unreleased track "Funemployed," streaming now on both Treaty Oak Revival and Austin Meade's official YouTube channels.
Speaking of the collaboration, Sam Canty of Treaty Oak Revival shared, "Austin and I met at my house in Oklahoma, and over the course of 3 days we wrote all 6 of these songs in my living room. We were gonna pick and choose which songs we wanted to use for our own respective bands, but I had a better idea. 'What if we took both our bands together, and made a collab mixtape?' And that's when the Meade-E-Oak'r mixtape was born. We had a blast creating this project and are more than happy that these songs have a home!"
Austin Meade added, "We were running a holiday tour called Meade-E-Oak'r Christmas Vacation. We kept trying to find time to write, but it was so hectic that we decided to get together afterwards. I'm glad we did because some of the songs like Slim Pickins, Rio Grande & Funemployed might not have been written if we didn't carve out the extra time. Sam is a great songwriter, and I've had a blast becoming friends with the whole TOR crew over the years. Texas blood runs deep!"
The second leg of Treaty Oak Revival's wildly popular West Texas Degenerate Tour continues through November with Austin Meade set to support their stops at Concrete Street Amphitheater in Corpus Christi, TX on October 29th, Melody Mountain Ranch in Stephenville, TX on October 30th, and Moody Center in Austin, TX on November 12th.
